I use Prezi.com for most of my presentations and love the flexibility. Here’s a quick tip to get videos into Prezi. Many times I find videos on the Internet that I want to use in my presentations. If they’re on Youtube it’s no problem. But if the videos are on other sites, it takes a few steps.
I installed Real Player (www.real.com) for the sole purpose of downloading media. If a site has a video, a small real player window will show up that allows you to download the video. More often than not, the video will be a Flash format, .FLV. Prezi will play an FLV, unlike PowerPoint which requires a work around. Once in Prezi, click Insert and Load Files. Choose the files downloaded by Real Player and you are good to go.
Let me know what you think.
